Job Description:Monitor, control and report Contractor's performance, man-power deployment, plant and equipment's movements, construction slippages etc. Coordinate with EPIC Contractor during the execution of Electrical works, Instrumentation, F&G, DCS, ESD and Telecom related construction activities at offshore construction site in Halul and Production Stations.

Conduct daily and weekly meeting with Contractors involving all discipline supervisors, QA/QC Inspectors and HSE advisors and address/resolve issues hindering progress.

Act as the construction Risk Management representative to identify Construction Risk events, the effects & consequences, propose mitigation measures and take ownership to ensure mitigation measures have been implemented at site.

Review and forward to management daily and weekly construction progress reports for assigned projects and verify contractor's progress statements for accuracy.

Liaise with senior discipline engineers throughout all phases of the project for all construction related matters including inputs during the detailed engineering and procurement stages.

Participate in reviewing detailed design drawings, method statements, material requisitions, material receipt inspection etc.

Participate and provide inputs during the SAT, FAT, IFAT and performance test.

Review contractors' construction plans, schedules, method statements, procedures including offshore logistics.

Review, comment and approve contractor documents in PDMS.

Supervise and approve construction activities and co-ordinate various aspects of project construction including material testing and inspections, material submissions and working drawings from contractor and processing documentation as required.

Check and ensure that all construction works are completed in accordance with approved standards and consistent with contract specifications.

Coordinate and participate the MCC walk through, review and approve the red line mark-up drawings pre-commissioning and commissioning activities with contractor, vendors and end users.

Maintain a daily record of progress noting special comments.

Reports to Head, Construction work anomalies or contractual deviations committed by contractor personnel and recommend corrective actions.

Monitor and control of work permits to ensure that contractor compliance with conditions fixed on consolidated work permits.

Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors to offshore sites following the contract award.

Interact and interface with other contractors, projects, departments regularly to identify and resolve all construction related matters especially liaison with Production and Maintenance departments.

Participate in bid review and provide inputs on Tender document, drawings, method statements, construction execution schedule etc. from E&I discipline.

Under the general supervision of Head, Construction; initiate decisions on the project issues within the framework of respective contract documents, Procedures/guidelines, in close coordinate and concurrence with the project team.

Takes responsibility for all matters outside of normal working hours during construction phases of the project.

Accountable for efficiently managing site construction activities leading to construction, pre-commissioning in accordance with policies and procedures.

Requirements:Higher National Diploma (HND), Diploma in Diploma in Instrumentation and/or Electrical and/or Mechanical from a recognized University with extensive commissioning experience of Oil & Gas projects.

Good skills in construction management, effective communication, conflict resolution.

A minimum of eight to ten (10 to 12) years' experience in relevant construction and installation activities in projects of oil & gas industry.

Basic knowledge in telemetry installation and commissioning.

Experienced in the implementation of construction industry best practices, systems, processes and standards.

Understanding of construction techniques for various types of work especially the construction and commissioning activities in brown fields and Well Head Jackets.

Good skills in construction management, effective communication, conflict resolution.

Exposure to works by associated disciplines Computer literate.

Good communication and writing skills.

Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety and environmental awareness.

Excellent ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans, construction schedules and drawings.

Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems and ability to suggest solutions.

Ability to supervise a multi-national and multi-cultural contractor workforce.

Additional Information:Salary: Day Rate in QAR Plus Allowance

Work Schedule: 9 Hours/ 6 Days
