Job Title: AC Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to install, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of HVAC components, refrigerants, and electrical systems. The role requires strong troubleshooting abilities and a commitment to safety and quality.

• Install, inspect, and maintain air conditioning systems including split units, window units, and central cooling systems.
  

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in AC systems.
  

• Perform routine maintenance, including replacing filters, cleaning coils, and checking refrigerant levels.
  

• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
  

• Calibrate thermostats and test AC system performance using specialized tools and gauges.
  

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
  

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  

• Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of work completed.
  

• Respond promptly to customer service requests and emergency calls.
  

• Coordinate with other technicians, supervisors, or engineers on complex installations or repairs.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or a related field.
  

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in AC system installation and maintenance.
  

• Certification in HVAC systems is an added advantage.
  

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in AC system diagnostics and repair.
  

• Strong understanding of refrigerant gases, compressors, and control systems.
  

• Familiarity with safety practices and electrical systems related to HVAC.
  

• Ability to work independently and in team environments.
  

• Good physical stamina and ability to work in various environments (rooftops, confined spaces).
  

• Basic communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
