AMI System Operator

• Monitor and manage AMI systems including Head
  End System (HES), Meter Data Management (MDM), and communication networks.
  
• Ensure continuous and seamless communication
  between smart meters and central systems.
  
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve AMI system
  issues related to connectivity, data flow, and performance.
  
• Perform first -level diagnosis of communication
  failures and network performance issues.
  
• Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues
  to higher support levels or vendors as per procedures.
  
• Analyze AMI operational data and generate system
  performance insights and reports.
  
• Coordinate with IT, metering, telecom, and field
  teams to ensure system reliability.
  
• Support system configuration, updates, and minor
  enhancements under supervision.
  
• Maintain system logs, incident records, and
  operational documentation.
  
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ISMS, BCMS, and
  cybersecurity policies.
  
• Adhere to corporate Health & Safety and
  operational procedures.
  
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the
  supervisor.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, or related discipline.
  
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in AMI system monitoring, MDM/HES operations, or similar environments.
  
• Proficiency in AMI systems and operational software tools.
  
• Knowledge of smart metering technologies and communication protocols.
  
• Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
  
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  
• Written and spoken English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
