Arabic Interpretation Vacancy

We are currently seeking two certified English <> Gulf Arabic Court Interpreters for a legal hearing assignment in Doha, Qatar.

This is a freelance on-site role. The interpreters will facilitate real-time interpretation during court proceedings, ensuring accuracy, neutrality, and cultural appropriateness. 

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional simultaneous/consecutive interpretation during court sessions.

• Interpret legal terminology and complex legal discourse between English and Gulf Arabic.

• Ensure complete confidentiality and adherence to court protocol and professional ethics.

• Maintain cultural sensitivity and professionalism in all interactions.

• Be punctual and fully prepared for each session across the hearing.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and Gulf Arabic (spoken and written).

• Prior experience interpreting in legal or courtroom environments.

• Excellent understanding of legal terminology in both languages.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to remain neutral, composed, and accurate in high-pressure legal settings.

• Residency in Qatar.

MUST-HAVE Qualifications

• Proven experience in legal interpretation or courtroom settings.

• Official interpreter certification.

• Availability in Doha, Qatar.
