PositionSummary
Promote awareness ofbrand image internally and externally. Use sales techniques thatmaximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty toMarriott. Communicate with potential owners via telephone to set uppreview package sales/tours. Encourage guests or callers topurchase or schedule preview package sales/tours. Explain detailsand requirements related to attending a sales presentation topotential owners. Verify that individuals meet eligibilityrequirements for preview package sales/tours prior to scheduling atour for a Marriott vacation club property. Determine and givecomplimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage (e.g.,rewards points, show tickets). Perform general office duties tosupport Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, sending emails,typing, faxing). Receive, record, and relay messages accurately,completely, and legibly.
Assist management intraining, evaluating, counseling, and motivating and coachingemployees; serve as a role model and first point of contact of theGuarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Follow allcompany policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personalappearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality ofproprietary information; protect the privacy and security of guestsand coworkers. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according tocompany standards; anticipate and address guests’ serviceneeds; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with othersusing clear and professional language; prepare and review writtendocuments accurately and completely; answer telephones usingappropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive workingrelationships with others; support team to reach common goals;listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of otheremployees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less thanor equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonablejob duties as requested bySupervisors.
PreferredQualifications
Education: Highschool diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
RelatedWork Experience: At least 1 year of related workexperience.
Supervisory Experience: Nosupervisory experience.
