You ll also be responsible for diagnosingand repairing client and dealership vehicles while maintaining apositive relationship with clients who return with unsatisfactorywork. • Examine and diagnose vehicles
  


• Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor
  


• Communicate additional service requests to serviceadvisor
  


• Plan work procedures in cooperation with shopforeman
  


• Provide labor time estimates to serviceadvisor
  


• Monitor repair time and update service advisorregularly
  


• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies onvehicle care and operation
  


• Complete story and/or documentation for clientrepairs
  


• Assist in mentoring techniciantrainees
  


• Attend company and factorytraining
  


• Keep current with factory technicalbulletins
  


• Understand and follow federal, state and localregulations (such as disposal of hazardouswaste)
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (general equivalencydiploma); or related experience and/or training; or equivalentcombination of education andexperience.
