Assistant Salad Specialist

• Directs food preparation and collaborates with Salad Specialist
• Helps in the design of food and menu.
• Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies.
• Oversees and supervises kitchen staff.
• Ensures that food is top quality, and that kitchen is in good condition.
• Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards.
• Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen’s performance.
• Prepares food properly.
• Orders food supplies.
• Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures
• Responsible in maintaining proper food storage temperature in accordance with each food temperature requirement.
• Carryout other related duties as instructed by the Superintendent.

Skills

• Accredited certificate or diploma in catering, culinary Arts, hospitality, or similar.
• Experience for minimum 5 years within 5-star hotel environment.
• Speak/communicate in Arabic and English
• Strong awareness of trends and seasonality of productions
• Produces high quality plates, including both design and taste.
