- Directs food preparation and collaborates with Salad Specialist
- Helps in the design of food and menu.
- Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies.
- Oversees and supervises kitchen staff.
- Ensures that food is top quality, and that kitchen is in good condition.
- Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards.
- Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen’s performance.
- Prepares food properly.
- Orders food supplies.
- Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures
- Responsible in maintaining proper food storage temperature in accordance with each food temperature requirement.
- Carryout other related duties as instructed by the Superintendent.
Skills
- Accredited certificate or diploma in catering, culinary Arts, hospitality, or similar.
- Experience for minimum 5 years within 5-star hotel environment.
- Speak/communicate in Arabic and English
- Strong awareness of trends and seasonality of productions
- Produces high quality plates, including both design and taste.
