A Banquet Waiter/ess is responsible forserving guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner todeliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while havingextensive knowledge of menu offerings. What will I be doing? As aBanquet Waiter/ess, you are responsible for serving guests in afriendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver an excellentGuest and Member experience. A Banquet Waiter/ess will also berequired to have extensive knowledge of menu offerings.Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the followingtasks to the highest standards: • Manage guest queries ina friendly, timely, and efficient manner • Ensureknowledge of menu and all products • Ensure mis-en-placeis well stocked at all stations • Follow correct reportingprocedures if faced with issues • Ensure Food and Beverageorders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in atimely manor • Practice Hilton Grooming standardsincluding uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene• Set banquet tables to meet function specifications• Deliver and serve food and beverages, including, but notlimited to, meals, condiments and accompaniments • Removechina, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion ofthe meal period and deliver to the stewarding area •Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service •Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficientmanner • Prepare and replenish foods for hot and coldbuffets to include, but not limited to, fruit, juices, cereals,bread, hot food, etc. • Replenish ice and maintain timeand temperature sanitation standards • Transport fooditems to and from the kitchen • Check, maintain andcontrol inventory of food items/beverages • Restock withinventory and break down the buffet to clean, replace and set fornext day • Perform general cleaning to maintaincleanliness of work area • Put away food stock and drygoods according to established standards • Assist fellowteam members and other departments wherever necessary to maintainpositive working relationships • Assist others with sidework including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, foldingsilverware, etc. • Comply with hotel security, fireregulations and all health and safety legislation What are welooking for?
