About the role:

The Training Facilitator will lead the delivery of training programs for guest facing participants on sensitivity training for people with disabilities, ensuring that content, delivery methods, and learning environments are accessible, inclusive, and tailored to diverse needs. The Facilitator will work closely with clients, support staff, and participants to create a respectful, engaging, and empowering learning experience, upholding best practice in disability inclusion at every stage of the training cycle.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Training Design & Delivery

• Facilitate engaging, participant-centered training sessions using adaptive teaching methods, assistive technologies, and alternative communication formats as needed.

• Adjust pacing, instructions, and activities in real time to accommodate individual participants.
  

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Document session outcomes, participant progress, and needs for internal tracking and client reporting.

• Collect and incorporate participant feedback to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.

• Stay current on best practice, assistive technologies, and regulatory standards in disability inclusion and accessible training.
  

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience designing and facilitating training programs for individuals with disabilities, with a solid grounding in accessibility principles and inclusive training methodologies.

• Working knowledge of different disability types (physical, sensory, intellectual, and learning) and best practice for adapting content and delivery accordingly.

• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt tone and approach to diverse audiences.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the inclusion and empowerment of people with disabilities.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan sessions and adapt confidently under changing conditions.
  

Soft Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Social Work, Psychology, Human Resources, Training & Development, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience (2+ years) facilitating disability programs, inclusive education, or vocational training for people with disabilities.

• Certification in disability inclusion, special education, or training and facilitation (e.g., Train the Trainer) is preferred.

• Proficiency in English; additional language or sign language skills are a plus.
  

Location & Commitments:

• Contractual position based in Doha, Qatar.

• Willingness to travel to training venues across Qatar as required.

• On-site delivery role requiring flexibility for early starts, late finishes, or extended sessions when needed.
