Chief Accountant

Job Summary : ONLY CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT SHOULD APPLY Responsibilities : -
Financial Reporting :

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to management.

Budgeting and Forecasting :

• Assist in the development of annual operating budgets and longterm financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis reports to management.

General Ledger Management :

• Maintain the general ledger and oversee the recording of all financial transactions.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Cash Flow Management :

• Manage cash flow by monitoring inflows and outflows of funds.
• Forecast cash needs and ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.

Tax Compliance :

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Liaise with external tax advisors and authorities as necessary.

Internal Controls :

• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership :

• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the accounting team.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA certification required.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
