CiQ- HR Specialist (Temporary) - Doha

The HR Specialist will be responsible to undertake all the cycle of the employee ’s journey , from the moment the candidate accepts the offer un til their offboarding.  Will also be responsible to undertake all hiring activities, from creating requisitions, advertising open roles , screening to interviewing candidates, closing hires and prepare offers, welcome the new joiner, organize the induction, systems enrollment, benefits ’, preparation of salary certificates, L&D coordination, engagement activities, etc.

• Works closely with the business and Direct Operations to understand talent needs.
• Post job vacancies in the different career portals
• Conduct screening Interviews for all entities
• Coordinate recruitment & selection activities
• Initiate the onboarding process once the candidates accept the offers
• Create and maintain employee’s files and records in electronic and paper form
• Prepare and organize induction plans
• Enrollment and administration of staff’ benefits: Life, medical insurance
• Create employees in the different portals used by Canon
• Coordinate with the PRO the cancelations, visa transfers for new joiners, leavers and existing employees
• Support Comp & Ben specialist with monthly inputs for smooth payout in timely manner

What we ask / Wen wir suchen / Ce que nous attendons

• 3- 4 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist in a Multinational Organization and hand-on experience as In-House Recruiter for Multinational Technology Companies

• Understanding of general human resources policie and procedures

• Good knowledge of employment/ Labour laws of Qatar

• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems(e.g. PeopleSoft), Excel is essential.

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Aptitude in problem-solving

• Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach

• BSc/BA in Business administration, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or relevant field

• Available in Qatar on immediate basis

• Available on Family sponsorship (Female candidate)
