Job Description - Cleaner Cum Supporting staff

Duties & Responsibilities

Sweeping and mopping the floor using soap and water or with anti-septic cleansers on daily basis.
Daily cleaning of toiletries, wash basin and other utensils using soap and water or with anti-septic.
Keep antiseptics cleansers, soaps, rugs, sponges, dusters, mops and brooms in the proper place after use. Avoid leaving it anywhere in the pharmacy premise.
Cleaning of glass doors, walls, display boards on a weekly basis.
Cleaning the sales counter, computers, keyboard preferably every morning.
General cleaning of all shelves at least once in a month.
Collect the used papers, plastics, old torn rugs and related items, dispose the same on daily basis.
Daily dusting and arranging of stocks/ Products to its appropriate places and work hand in hand with Assist. Pharmacist in merchandising and displaying of items in shelves.
Keep pharmacy bags, brown envelopes and waste bags in its proper place. Also refill the same on appropriate time.
Be keen in the arrangement of stocks with regards to its expiry date sequence when dusting or cleaning the shelves.
Call the pharmacist or pharmacy assistants attention if any products with short expiry, unreported damage, faded or expired items found in the shelves while dusting/ arranging.
Actively participate in decorating the pharmacy, changing the display, distributing the flyers to customers and nearby places during promotion period and willingness to do work as may be assigned if necessary.
Wear assigned company uniform with good grooming habit.
Mobile/ Telephone usage is strictly prohibited in the pharmacy during the duty hours.
Preparing and serving Tea/ Coffee to Pharmacy colleagues are strictly prohibited, but cleaning the pantry and other utensils using soap and water has to be taken care.
Involving in the Personal works of the Pharmacy colleagues likes going to bank, buying groceries, recharge cards and etc., during the duty or off duty time is strictly prohibited.
Working with honorary or with payment in the houses of Pharmacy colleagues or any other premises during the duty or off duty time is strictly prohibited.
