Position Overview:

A CNC Machine Operator specializing in metal sheet cutting, bending, and drawing is responsible for the operation and maintenance of computer numerical control (CNC) machines used in the manufacturing process. The operator must possess a strong understanding of CNC machinery, particularly in metal fabrication processes such as cutting, bending, and drawing. Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup: Set up CNC machines according to job specifications, including loading metal sheets onto the machine, installing appropriate cutting or bending tools, and configuring machine settings.

Programming: Input and modify CNC programs to ensure accurate cutting, bending, and drawing of metal sheets. This may involve reading and interpreting technical drawings, adjusting machine parameters, and troubleshooting programming errors.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in CNC machining is preferred.

Proven experience operating CNC machines, particularly in metal fabrication processes such as cutting, bending, and drawing.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) and software (e.g., CAM/CAD) is advantageous.
