Coating Quality Controller

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Coating Quality Controller in Qatar. Our client is seeking skilled, motivated professionals with hands-on experience in coating inspection, production supervision, and related coating activities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct coating inspections at various stages to verify compliance with applicable specifications and quality requirements.
  
• Inspect surface preparation activities before coating application.
  
• Monitor coating application processes and identify quality deviations.
  
• Supervise coating-related production activities to maintain required quality standards.
  
• Verify coating conditions, application procedures, and inspection results.
  
• Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and coating documentation.
  
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve coating-related non-conformities.
  
• Ensure coating activities comply with applicable inspection procedures, specifications, and safety requirements.
  

Required Skills

1. Coating Inspection: Practical knowledge of inspecting surface preparation and coating application activities.
   
2. Quality Control: Ability to identify coating defects and verify work against specifications.
   
3. Production Supervision: Experience monitoring and supervising coating-related production activities.
   
4. NACE/FROSIO Knowledge: Understanding of coating inspection practices supported by NACE Level 1 or FROSIO certification.
   
5. Inspection Documentation: Ability to maintain inspection reports and coating quality records.
   

Preferred Skills

• Shipyard or marine coating exposure.
  
• Familiarity with coating inspection instruments and testing methods.
  
• Knowledge of surface preparation and protective coating standards.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in coating inspection, production supervision, and related coating activities is required. Candidates should have practical exposure to coating quality-control activities and inspection processes.

Education

• Minimum: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
