Commis Chef - French and Continental Cuisine

Monthly Salary:

QAR 2,000 to QAR 2,200

plus FREE accommodation and transportation

Job Overview : We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Commis Chef with expertise in French and Continental cuisine to join our culinary team.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and cook French and Continental dishes in accordance with the restaurant's recipes and quality standards.

Ensure the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients to maintain the authenticity of Italian flavors.

Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.

Conduct regular tastings to ensure consistency in flavors and adherence to recipes.

Adhere to proper food handling and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen.

Work collaboratively with other chefs and kitchen staff to achieve smooth kitchen operations.

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive and positive work environment.

Assist in monitoring kitchen inventory and communicate with the Head Chef regarding ingredient needs.

Stay informed about new cooking techniques and trends and share knowledge with the team.

Contribute to the development of French and Continental-themed menus, suggesting creative and seasonal dishes.

Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative elements into traditional Italian recipes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Commis Chef in an French and Continental cuisine-focused kitchen.

Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.

In-depth knowledge of French and Continental culinary techniques, ingredients, and traditional recipes.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Creativity and passion for creating exceptional Italian dishes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,200.00 per month
