Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer for a short-term project in Ras Laffan. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in cable termination, substation works, and panel installation within the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute electrical installation, testing, and commissioning at site.

• Perform cable termination for LV/MV systems and ensure proper routing and connection.

• Oversee substation works, including switchgear, transformer, and control panel installation.

• Handle panel wiring and assembly in accordance with design and safety standards.

• Interpret and review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.

• Coordinate with site supervisors and other engineering disciplines for smooth project execution.

• Ensure all electrical works comply with Qatar Energy, Kahramaa, and company safety standards.

• Prepare inspection requests, test reports, and as-built documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects (construction or maintenance).

• Proven experience in Cable Termination, Substations, and Panel Installation.

• Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems, cable testing, and grounding.

• Familiarity with Qatar Energy and Kahramaa standards.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
