Electrician Lead

OverviewInstalls, inspects, troubleshoots,repairs, operates, and maintains electrical systems and componentsof electrical power distribution and generating equipment. Performsoperations and maintenance duties to maintain power totelecommunications equipment and maintains the facility s physicalelectrical distribution system in good repair. Electrical workexperience includes electrical installation in commercial andindustrial categories.Responsibilities• Installs,inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, operates, and maintainselectrical systems and components of electrical power distributionand generating equipment.• Performs operations andmaintenance duties to maintain power to telecommunicationsequipment and maintains the facility s physical electricaldistribution system in good repair.• Electrical workexperience includes electrical installation in commercial andindustrial categories.• Assists the Master Electricianproviding oversight and leadership to electricians•Performs office duties as assigned, to include updatingAIS(Maximo).Qualifications• Qualifications•Foreign Nation• Minimum Qualifications:Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may besubstituted for one year of education, if degree isrequired.• Electrical certification/degreerequired• A valid driver s license and the ability toobtain a host nation Driver s License, is required.• Skilllevel and/or years of experience:• Minimum of five (5) toseven (7) years of work experience in the electrical wiringindustry, including experience in planning, laying out, andinstalling electrical distribution systems IAW the NEC or Britishstandards, under the direct supervision of a qualifying electricianfor a licensed electrical contractor.• Minimum of two (2)years of work experience in an office environment, includingexperience in Maximo• Skills: • Ability toInstall, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, operate, and maintainelectrical systems and components of electrical power distributionand generating equipment.• Ability to Perform operationsand maintenance duties to maintain power to telecommunicationsequipment and maintains the facility s physical electricaldistribution system in good repair.• Ability to ensure asafe working environment including leading safetydiscussions• Working Conditions: • Must becapable of working in an extreme weather conditions withtemperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.• Indoorand/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions(i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperaturesof 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summermonths).• Includes some industrial production environmentconditions as well.• Physical Requirements: •Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/orup to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds offorce constantly to move objects.• Work may require heavylifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting,and working with or in areas where a potential could exist forexposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.•Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required forsome situations.
