Job Description - Elevator Sales Manager - Perm

Job Responsibilities:

As Sales Manager will be fully involved in new project sales, maintenance sales and modernization. Hands on approach for all activities under your responsibility.

New Sales:

  • Generate inquiries and review project specifications.
  • Select suitable solutions and coordinate with the pricing team to prepare quotes for pricing and specifications.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive technical and commercial offers, including specification comparisons, terms, conditions, and planned delivery lead times.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and reliable sources to obtain target prices and identify any shortcomings in the company's offer.
  • Explore and suggest solutions to overcome price differences and shortcomings, ensuring timely resubmission of offers.
  • Lead and motivate sales associates to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and share best sales practices within the team.
  • Develop, implement, and conduct training programs for new sales associates.
  • Manage the sales and marketing departments, including hands-on direct sales activities.
  • Exceed budgeted profitability and targeted turnover.
  • Enhance product and group loyalty in the market.
  • Discuss and gain approval from the Direct Manager for long and short-term sales strategies.
  • Meet deadlines for all sales-related activities with principals and the organization.
  • Communicate effectively with internal staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare presentation documents and reports on sales-related activities.
  • Provide status reports, including activity, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Guide and prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Specify company products with consulting firms and negotiate projects with contractors/clients.
  • Follow up on inquiries, leads, and outstanding issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.

General Sales Responsibilities:

  • Interact with consultants and contractors to build rapport and support in selecting company solutions for projects.
  • Organize and conduct seminars to promote the company's products.
  • Liaise with consultants to ensure company products are included in the vendor's list for each project.
  • Meet targets set by the company periodically.
  • Prepare and submit internal reports as required and follow up on the status regularly.
  • Develop and create customer relationships in the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and address complaints in collaboration with the team.
  • Document and maintain customer and contact information in the CRM system.
  • Be accountable for leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts to meet sales targets and budget.
  • Proactively generate opportunities from outside the current customer base.
  • Identify customer needs and propose solutions matching those needs.
  • Price using approved tendering/pricing tools and validate contract contents against the final offer.
  • Maintain full information on tenders, opportunities, tasks, and visits in the CRM system.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting in CRM on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Estimate, tender, and quote small and large project submissions, actively following up.
  • Develop the company's service business market share, renewal rate, and position in the customer base.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to capitalize on lead opportunities, orders, and contracts.

Modernization Project Sales:
Generate enquiries for modernization projects, review existing installation specifications, and select suitable upgrade solutions. Coordinate with the technical team and maintenance manager to evaluate site conditions and requirements. Send enquiries to the pricing team and prepare detailed quotations including pricing and specifications. Develop and submit technical and commercial offers, including specification comparisons, terms and conditions, and planned delivery lead time. Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, or any other reliable sources to obtain target pricing and identify any shortcomings in the company's offer. Explore and propose solutions to overcome price gaps and technical limitations, and resubmit revised offers in a timely manner. Ensure satisfaction of contract deliverables and facilitate the collection of due payments for the awarded modernization project.

Maintenance Sales: Sell Annual Maintenance Contracts including 3rd party maintenance in the Market. Inspect the Equipment, Estimate the Price, prepare the Contract Terms, Submit Contract and Negotiate Terms and Price and get the Contract Signed in an appropriate manner. Monitor Contracts signed and renew them prior to the Expiry. Work to attain 100% inclusion of all projects, where Company Products are employed, into Company's Maintenance Portfolio. Prepare and submit all internal Reports as required and follow up on the status regularly. Timely collection of all due payments and promoting the company's Good Name are also essential.

Reporting Structure:

As Sales Manager, you will be reporting to the Operations Manager.
