Job Description: Develop lesson plans andthemes in line with UK Curriculum objectives specific for teachingEnglish Subjects (Language Arts) at Middle-Secondary grade levels.Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Usecomputers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials tosupplement presentations. Adapt teaching methods and instructionalmaterials to meet the varying needs and interests of students.Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with studentsand organizing learning resources and the classroom environment.Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers, counsellors andadministrators to resolve any possible behavioural or academicproblems. Attend professional development workshops and educationalconferences to maintain and improve professional competence.Establish and enforce rules for class management and studentbehaviour. Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments toevaluate student progress. Qualifications: • BachelorDegree in English, Literature or Linguistics from a recognizedUniversity (From the UK preferred) • TEACHING LICENSE FROMONE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES: UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA (due to Visarestrictions) • Must have excellent English communicationskills and could pass an IELTS at level 7 • Must haveexcellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectivelywith student behaviour issues Experience: • Minimum 2years English (Language Arts) teaching experience atMiddle-Secondary grade levels • Culturally sensitive,dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changingenvironment CONTRACT DETAILS Start Date: As soon as possibleLocation: Qatar Monthly Salary Range: TAX FREE Monthly salary fromQAR 10,000 - 13,000 depending on qualifications and experienceHousing: Free Housing or Allowance, size depending on family statusHealth Insurance Coverage: Provided for employee and one dependentAnnual Air Tickets: Annual air fare for employee and one dependentLeave: In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated asper academic calendar and as per country Labour law.
