Financial Controller

Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the financial control and integrity of all transactions and the timely and end to end process.
• Management of Audit, Banking, Group and other external adviser relationships.
• Responsible for the Statutory Accounts and the production of annual statutory accounts.
• Responsible for tax compliance and planning.
• Develop the Group reporting function and streamlining of month end processes.
• Undertake systems development work upgrading from the existing Accounting software.
• Manage the daily treasury and banking activities.
• Ensure Financial Operation readiness, relating to changes in administration, financial systems and impact assessment.
• Responsible for developing and managing a team of staff.
• Support a continuous improvement ethic and process development.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required by senior management.
• Responsible for covenant testing and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in both core financial management/controller roles and experience within a central finance environment.
• Demonstrable experience of managing Financial Operations, including General Ledger; Payroll; AR; AP; Credit Control and Finance Systems.
• A Business Partner type approach, with the ability to speak with both Finance and non-Finance colleagues.
• An emotionally intelligent individual with significant experience in developing and leading finance functions driving best practice and fostering a business partnering approach where success is measured by being actively sought out for support and advice.
• Solid accounting technical expertise facilitating alignment of internal and external reporting requirements where appropriate

Pay: QAR20,000.00 - QAR25,000.00 per month
