This is a remoteposition.
The Finance Intern willprovide accounting and financial analysis work for theReal EstateSales Division departments. The Intern will oversee the planning,development and review of financial analysis of portfolio orproperty operations plans to prepare a highest and best userecommendation or to collaborate with real estate development teammembers to prepare property for future landdevelopment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
In collaboration with team members,the finance intern will research, analyse, and evaluate scenariosto determine highest and best use case scenarios client canimplement utilising their interest in residential real estate,develops, implements, operates, maintains, and controls theessential operating systems, information, and financial business ofthe company.
Defines and implements keyperformance indicators and strategic objectives for the divisionand, as appropriate, the entire organization; facilitatesmeasurement of those objectives, reporting results to the executiveteam.
Drafts and implements policies andbest practices to support achievement of objectives and requiredstandards.
Draft proposals for new use casescenarios or land development or redevelopmentopportunities.
Coordinates the compilation offinancial statements, and leases to prepare for investmentanalysis.
Maintains knowledge of developmentsand trends in finance and administration, including technologicaladvances.
Facilitates implementation of newsystems and major modifications of existing systems to reducedowntime.
Performs other duties asrequired.
Requiredskills:
Ability to create and manage a realestate investment analysis overview, or an operations plan,developmentplan.
Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.
Ability to provide accountingservices as detailed in managementagreement.
Proficient in use of Spreadsheetapplications to organize or analyse investment opportunities, aswell as budget creation and analysissoftware.
Excellent managerialskills.
Excellent organizational skills andattention to detail.
Must be detail-oriented and highlyorganized.
Solid written and oral communicationskills.
Ability to work independently andcollaboratively.
Motivated to learn real estatebusiness.
Educationand Experience:
Undergraduate or graduate levelstudent pursuing a Real Estate and/or a Finance degree whopossesses the desire to work in the real estateindustry.
Projects portfolio or anyprevious work portfolio required, please include inapplication
PhysicalRequirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a deskand working on acomputer.
