General Surgeon Consultant

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of surgical procedures and interventions with precision and care.
• Evaluate patients preoperatively, develop surgical plans, and conduct postoperative follow-ups.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for surgical patients.
• Oversee and guide surgical residents and staff in best practices and surgical techniques.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Keeps abreast of new developments in the field of surgery and implement evidence-based practices.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding surgical options and care plans.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completion of a General Surgery residency program.
• Board certification in General Surgery required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a surgical practice or hospital setting.
• Strong clinical skills in a broad range of surgical procedures and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and medical staff.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
