Job Position: Head Coach Fencing
Location : Doha- Qatar
Reports to: Director of Sports
Directorate: Sports Directorate
Job Classification: Full-time
Key Objectives:

To provide professional leadership of the Fencing operations, including establishing and implementing a strategic development plan for Fencing; leadership and management of the Fencing staff, development, and implementation of training and competition programs; and partnership liaison with a range of external and internal organizations in Qatar.

Measurable Outcomes:

Implementation of a rolling 4-year strategic development plan.
Achievement of set KPIs for coaching programs and staff.
Performance improvement of student-athletes via integrated planning.
Effective partnerships and collaborative agreements established.
Budget adherence and operational efficiency across Fencing activities.

Responsibilities Breakdown
Daily/Weekly Responsibilities	Provide daily oversight and support to fencing staff and athletes Collaborate with internal departments to align training and development Manage day-to-day operations and training program delivery Ensure athlete welfare and optimal use of resources
Monthly Responsibilities	Review and update Integrated Performance Plans (IPP) Monitor progress against strategic and performance KPIs Assess staff development needs and training opportunities Prepare and track budget utilization
Quarterly Responsibilities	Conduct staff performance reviews and development planning Liaise with Qatar Fencing Federation and other stakeholders for partnership updates Evaluate program effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly
Projects	Lead fencing innovation projects, including research collaborations Develop and implement athlete testing and recruitment protocols Oversee equipment and facility improvement initiatives Launch athlete development campaigns in coordination with scouting and recruitment teams
