Heavy Duty Mechanic

Job Summary:

A leading company in Qatar is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic with strong experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles and equipment such as trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and excavators. The ideal candidate should be skilled in troubleshooting mechanical faults and ensuring equipment is in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues in heavy vehicles and machinery
  

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication
  

• Repair or replace faulty parts including engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  

• Use diagnostic tools and follow technical manuals to identify issues
  

• Maintain service logs and maintenance records accurately
  

• Ensure all repairs meet safety and performance standards
  

• Coordinate with supervisors and operators to schedule and prioritize repairs
  

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  

Skills Required:

• Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, cranes, trucks, etc.)
  

• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics
  

• Experience using diagnostic tools and repair equipment
  

• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  

• Physically fit and able to handle tools and heavy parts
  

• Awareness of safety procedures in workshops and construction sites
