Helper

Assist in the operation of pumps, valves, aerators, filters, and other sewage treatment plant equipment.

Monitor flow levels, chemical dosing, and overall plant performance.

Perform basic inspections and cleaning of tanks, clarifiers, screens, and other plant areas.

Collect water and sludge samples for laboratory analysis.

Record operational data, meter readings, and observations in logbooks or digital systems.

Support the implementation of safety and environmental compliance procedures.

Assist in responding to plant alarms, shutdowns, and emergency situations.

Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating machinery and replacing minor parts.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in and around the plant area.

Report equipment faults or irregularities to the STP Operator or Supervisor promptly.
