Drafting/reviewing contracts, agreements,MoUs and monitor legal obligations under such contracts andagreements and be responsible to ensure that all contracts,agreements are routed, finalized, executed only through thecontract management software used by the Company.

Initiate and pursue legal proceedings asrequired by the Company: recovery suits, cheque dishonour cases,land/immovable property related issues, factory laws, environmentrelated issues, IPR etc.

Respond to Showcause Notices and defend legal cases filed against Company and/orits officials, Fertiliser Control Order, Insecticides Act, SeedsAct, etc.

Advise, monitor and reviewcompliances under various laws applicable to theCompany.

Advise the company on legal issuesconcerning the company and itsbusiness.

Liaise with and assist externalcounsels.

Represent the company in majorlegal cases, public hearings, arbitrations etc.

Other legal assignments that the Company mayentrust.

Should have completed Law graduate (fiveyears) program

Minimum 15 years postqualification experience in a manufacturing company with multiplelocations and business units

GoodUnderstanding of Coromandel s business and operations.

Good communicationskills.

Attention todetail.

Computerliterate

Ability to copy with high level ofresponsibility.

Candidates in Chennai orwilling to relocate to Chennai at short notice ispreferred.
