Housekeeping Runner

The Runner, is responsible for dispatching,collecting, restocking, delivering & inventoryingall
housekeeping supplies to Guests, floors pantries orstorage to enable smooth operation and
control of stock.He / She is also responsible for overlooking the Housekeeping storeroom
inventory, cleanliness & tidiness whichinclude OS&E items, cleaning supplies, machineries&
room amenities. The runner may be assignedbasic cleaning tasks at any given time. The Runner
keepsguest’s perspective in mind at all time to carry out themission of the Housekeeping
Department as well as thecompany values & vision.

PrimaryResponsibilities

• Report to shift ontime in issued uniform in a neat, clean and tidy appearance at alltimes.
• Maintain excellent personal appearanceand hygiene according to groomingstandard.
• Attend dailybriefing.
• Attend to training session whenrequired.
• Greet guests and address them by nameat all times when applicable
• Propose help toguest whenever applicable
• Deliver item to guestin a timely manner and according to standardset.
• Sign in and out master keys &devices daily, responsible for safe keeping ofboth
• Report maintenance issues found in workareas & escalate request when repairs aredelayed.
• Receive, transfer & store allgoods to designated storage area.
• Ensurecleanliness & tidiness of all storage areas are in strictcompliance of hygiene & health&
• safetyregulation
• May be requested to assist incleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweepingetc.
• Deliver and set up stores according toservice established standards
• Keep accurate& clear records of all incoming & outgoing itemsincluding OS&E items,
• cleaningsuppliers, machineries & minibar items to ensure accurateinventory, escalate
• discrepancy to Supervisorif any
• Collect goods from floor store rooms topick-up station, or pantries
• Restock pantrieswith amenities & linens according to set upstandard
