• Supports human resourcesdepartmentby screening, testing, and interviewingapplicants. •Prepares payroll by calculatingpay, distributing checks, andmaintaining payrollrecords. • Provides orientation for newemployeesby providing information packets, reviewing companypolicies,gathering withholding and other payroll information,explainingbenefit programs, and obtaining signatures fordocuments.• Maintains human resources recordsfor employees byrecording the hiring, transfer, termination,change in jobclassifications, and merit increase dates as well astrackingvacation, sick, and personaltime. • Administers employeebenefit programincluding student loan, medical insurance, savingsbond, anddisability programs by advising employees of eligibility,providingapplication information, helping with form completion,verifyingsubmission, and notifying employees ofapprovals.• Documents and tracks human resourcesactions bycompleting forms, reports, logs, andrecords. • Sets up andschedules complicatedmeetings for interviewees, hiring managers,employees, anddepartment heads
