Airswift is seeking for aLoss Prevention Lead to work with our client based in Qatar. JobDescription Develop and lead comprehensive Loss Prevention and HSEactivities for Project, ensuring all related requirements such asphilosophies, codes, practices are in compliance. Provide clearguidance to the contractors and facilitate resolution of relatedissues to complete discipline activities consistent with projectobjectives and milestones. Participate as technical authorityensuring technical requirements (e.g., Safety studies,calculations, datasheets, design etc.) fully comply with projectdeliverables and standardized processes and to provide support toEngineering Division Manager ensuring all aspects are delivered tothe highest standards. Key Accountabilities Participates as a keymember in the Loss Prevention and HSE activities to ensure that theContractors comply with the Contract requirements including codesand standards. Provide guidance to the Contractors to promotecompliance. Manage the Contractor in the safe delivery of the scopeof work; verify and ensure compliance with Company SHE and LossPrevention requirements, standards, specifications, instructions,and regulatory and environmental requirement. Engage acrossdisciplines including Process, Structural, Electrical, E&I,Piping, Mechanical, Pipeline, Risk; understand and communicate therequirements of FEED/EPC design; efficiently translate Companyrequirements and data into an efficient delivery from theContractor. Monitor the progress and delivery of the LossPrevention and HSE work scope; verify that risk assessment plansare suitable and include required risk assessments and riskworkshops as per Project phase and Company Gates requirement.Assists in the plans and schedules the Loss Prevention and HSEdeliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuringtechnical alignment and compliance with Qatar operational policies,standards of business conduct and project management system. Reportprogress of close-out on weekly basis for presentation tomanagement and ensure effective communication and coordination.Supervise and solve technical problems as they are developing inthe various disciplines, and to initiate appropriate correctiveactions. Seek guidance on areas beyond technical knowledge andmanage implementation of solutions. Chair meetings if required tocollect and disseminate information pertaining to Loss Preventionengineering actions; advise. Management in a timely manner whereissues are unable to be resolved and may impact the projectdelivery. Provide guidance and input during Project phases for thePackages, Contractor strategies/procedures to achieve projectIntegration objectives as required; participate in ConstructabilityReviews, Pre-Startup Reviews etc as required. Lead / drivecontractors to timely conduct and deliver safety studies such asQRA, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, PHA, Safety Case, SHE studies etc. perexecution plan. Ensure approved Loss Prevention recommendations andprograms are utilized by PMT to improve safety in design and inconstruction, reduce inefficiencies, and maintain high safetystandards. Qualifications Preferred degree in Engineering orInternationally recognized certification in loss Prevention.Knowledge and/or experience 10+ years of experience in disciplinewith preferred at least five years demonstrated senior engineeringexperience in major capital projects (preferably to Carbon Captureand Storage related Projects) Experience with EPC contractors,sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry.Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people in amulti-cultural environment
