Job Summary:
Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with senior HR & the top management in supporting designated geographic regions.
HR Generalist is responsible for recruitment/employment benefits, administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance .He should also implement a variety of human resource functions & programs in the organization. His goal is to ensure that the day-to-day management of HR operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole. Employee welfare, safety, wellness and counselling are an important areas of work for the Human Resources Generalist.
Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to):
· Be responsible for the overall talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
· Organize and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, Induction and training programs.
· Administer compensation and benefit plans.
· Prepare salary data on a monthly basis for accounts to process the salary.
· Maintain various HR related data in regards to Employees overall details.
· Take care of personal and professional development of the organization’s personnel, which involves employee orientation, development and training.
· Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, compensation etc. and resolve issues and problems.
·Implement policy documents and handbooks that can be referred to by employees.
· Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
· Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
· Undertake tasks in performance management & working closely with senior management within the organization for the same.
· Take care of the Performance Management system right from designing Job descriptions to setting KPI’s.
· Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics.
· Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
· Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form administering compensation and benefit plans.
· Develop compensation and benefits systems that fit the company’s HR responsibilities.
· Deal with employees at all the level.
· Handle employee complaints, grievances, and disputes
· Conduct various Employee engagement activities.
· Take care of reward & recognition activity in the company.
· Administer employee discipline processes.
· Conduct exit interviews.
· Review and update employee rules and regulations.
· Maintain the human resource information system and employee database.
· Maintain company organization charts and the employee directory.
· Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.
· Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
Education & Experience:
· University degree, HR Diploma is an asset.
· 3 to 5 years of experience
Required Skills:
· Proven experience as HR Generalist.
· Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
· Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
· Organized and efficient in daily tasks
· Outstanding knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems etc.
· Excellent communication and people skills.
· Aptitude in problem-solving.
· Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
· Team player.
· *Additional HR training will be a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From QAR6,000.00 per month
