HR Manager required for a multinational company in Qatar. Managing a small team, you will carry out a generalist / operational role reporting into the Country Manager and Regional HRD.
Responsibilities:
• Provide first line HR advice and query resolution to Qatar client base on a full range of HR activities, including interpretation and use of HR policies and procedures.
• Supervise governmental affairs operations in the Qatar location (all visa and trade licence processes).
• Responsible for induction and on-boarding of new joiners to Qatar.
• Manage payroll instructions for the Qatar location and ensure accuracy in monthly payments.
• Work with line managers offering support and guidance in employee relation matters (i.e. sickness, disciplinary, performance management).
• Communicate and advise line managers and employees of any relevant changes and revised HR policy documentation as applicable.
• Work with the business to support organisational change activity as required – restructures, rightsizing, relocation of resources, mobility.
• Conduct exit interviews as appropriate, and provide appropriate feedback to the location.
• Support or lead, HR projects or initiatives in the location and/or as part of the wider HR team as required.

Must be degree qualified with a strong HR Generalist background within the Middle East.
• Good understanding of Qatar labour law or demonstrate an ability to quickly assimilate local labour law and regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong written skills, capable of writing clearly and succinctly
• Good presentation skills
• Good client relationship management skills, and customer focus
