HSE Officer

We are seeking a HSE Officer who will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety,
and Environmental standards across Oil & Gas operations, with specific
focus on activities involving rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors,
pumps, motors, and related machinery. Ensures safe work practices, risk
control, incident prevention, compliance audits, and workforce safety awareness
during maintenance and operational activities.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor
  daily site activities to ensure compliance with HSE standards and
  procedures.
  
• Conduct
  risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits.
  
• Supervise
  safe work practices during rotating equipment maintenance and operations.
  
• Ensure
  PTW, LOTO, confined space, lifting, and hot work controls are followed.
  
• Deliver
  toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training.
  
• Investigate
  incidents, unsafe acts, and near misses with corrective actions.
  
• Maintain
  HSE reports, records, and compliance documentation.
  
• Coordinate
  emergency preparedness and safety improvement initiatives.
  

Requirements

• Diploma
  / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Science, or
  related discipline.
  
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as HSE Officer in Oil & Gas industry.
  
• Must
  have hands -on exposure to rotating equipment maintenance / shutdown
  / operational environments.
  
• Valid NEBOSH
  IGC / IOSH / OSHA certification preferred.
  
• Strong
  knowledge of PTW system, JSA, risk assessment, toolbox talks, and incident
  reporting.
  
• Familiarity
  with confined space, hot work, lifting operations, LOTO, and emergency
  response procedures.
  
• Good
  knowledge of Qatar / GCC HSE regulations and international safety
  standards.
  
• Strong
  communication and reporting skills.
