Job Description: Develop lesson plans andthemes in line with curriculum objectives specific for teachingHumanities Subjects to Secondary grade levels. Instruct throughlectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Use computers,audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplementpresentations. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materialsto meet the varying needs and interests of students. Facilitatelearning by establishing a relationship with students andorganizing learning resources and the classroom environment.Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers counsellors andadministrators to resolve any possible behavioural or academicproblems. Attend professional development workshops and educationalconferences in order to maintain and improve professionalcompetence. Establish and enforce rules for class management andstudent behaviour. Prepare, administer, and grade tests andassignments to evaluate student progress. CONTRACT DETAILS:Required Qualifications: • Bachelor Degree in Humanitiesor HISTORY or Geography or Travel & Tourism or GlobalPerspectives from a recognized University in the UK, US, CA, AU,NZ, ZA (UK preferred for British Curriculum) • TEACHINGLICENSE FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES: UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA(Due to Visa Restrictions) • Must have excellent EnglishCommunication Skills and able to pass IELTS at level 7 •Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to dealeffectively with student behaviour issues Required Experience:• Minimum 3 years teaching experience at Secondary gradelevels • Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible andable to work in a continuously changing environment Monthly SalaryRange: TAX FREE Monthly Salary range from QAR 11,000 to 13,000depending on qualifications and experience Housing: • FREEFurnished 1-2 bedroom accommodation or Housing Allowance accordingto marital status • Transportation provided from SchoolAccommodation to School daily • Utilities paid at QAR 300for Singles and QAR 500 for Married Health Insurance Coverage:Medical insurance is provided for employee and one dependent AnnualAir Fare: Annual Cash Air Fare for employee and 1 dependent (spouseor child) equivalent to economy ticket price back to home countryAnnual Leave: In addition to official holidays, paid leave isallocated as per academic calendar and as per country Labour law.Minimum 30 work days per year Dependent School Fees: 100% Discountfor one dependent attending same school as employee Visa andMedical Check Fees: Fees for Residency Visa will be paid foremployees only.
