Instrument Technician

• Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation such as pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and safety systems.
  
• Troubleshoot faults in PLC, DCS, and SIS systems (e.g., Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell, ABB, Siemens).
  
• Perform loop checks, function testing, and pre-commissioning/commissioning of instrumentation systems.
  
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedule and report any deviations or failures.
  
• Maintain instrumentation associated with fire and gas detection, ESD systems, turbine controls, and wellhead equipment.
  
• Use HART communicators, multimeters, calibrators, and other diagnostic tools to perform technical tasks.
  
• Maintain documentation of work performed, calibration records, and equipment history in CMMS (e.g., SAP, Maximo).
  
• Ensure compliance with offshore safety protocols and regulatory requirements (e.g., PTW, risk assessments, JSA).
  
• Support shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency maintenance as needed.
  

Requirements

1. Should have a minimum of 5 years of offshore experience.
   
2. Should have Technical diploma or trade certification in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related discipline.
   
3. Should possess T-BOSIET/ HUET, H2S, Confined Space, and OMF Offshore Gate Pass (either valid or expired copies).
