Job Description - Interior Designer amp Sales - That39s Living Group

Summary:

InteriorDesigner & Sales will define design and implement acreative visual merchandising strategy according to theorganizations culture products image and target market. He/ shewill also provide exceptional customer service and the mostimportant is to find new clients and bring projects to the company.He/ she will undertake design projects from concept to completionand be able to help the customer create beautiful gorgeous spaceswith our furniture & accessoriesselection.

Job Duties &Responsibilities:

As an InteriorDesigner & Sales your job duties and responsibilities aredivided into three categories. This categorization reflects themultifaceted nature of your role and ensures that you excel in bothcreative design and customerorientedsales.

I InteriorDesign:

1. Define design and implementa creative visual merchandising strategy according to theorganizations culture products image and targetmarket.

2. Report to the Showroom Managerregarding the process which includes the project planningconceptual design space planning presentations finish selectionsscope client programming product specifications and cost to ensuresuccessful execution of projects from start to finish and todevelop and advance the design agenda of each project and processfor job orders to ensure that the job is performed according to thecustomer specifications ensure profit to thecompany.

3. Provides sales and design services toclientele presenting floor plans and full presentation boards fordesign.

4. Builds and maintains a high level ofproduct knowledge related to furniture home furnishings and relatedaccessories including a strong understanding of constructionfeatures.

5. Provide overall guidance andassistance to the Junior Interior Designers during the process flowof designing the projects.

6. Stays current oninterior design trends in their local market and on a nationallevel.

II VisualMerchandising:

1. Produce windowdisplays signs interior displays floor plans and special promotionsdisplay.

2. Arrange eyecatching and wellpresentedvisual displays appealing to the customers showrooms are clean andthe furniture is in place and cushions are arrangedappropriately.

3. Ensure the showroom music isturned on change displays to promote new product launches andreflect festive or seasonal themes.

4. Identifydamaged furniture or accessories that needmaintenance.

III Sales & OtherRelated Responsibilities:

1. Assistsall customers as called in rotation and ensures appropriate orderprocedures and processing.

2. Offers superiorcustomer service and cultivates relationships with clients to sell& develop future business utilizing effective sellingskills.

3. Responsible for achieving monthlysales goals delivery goals and creating and maintaining a clientbase.

4. Responsible for attracting and bringingin new clients and projects to the company.

5.Utilizes strong interpersonal skills selling skills activelistening professional attitude and represents the company withintegrity and professionalism.

6. Maintainsclient contact from order writing through delivery to ensure clientsatisfaction.

7. Follow up on the clients ordersand make sure that the orders have beenplaced.

8. Collect the pending payments andensure that the pending deliveries arecompleted.

9. Participates in other showroomfunctions including but not limited to: training and mentoringothers weekly sales meetings working reports maintaining showroomappearance tagging wrapping and greeting catalog / price listupkeep and inventory.

10. Maintain an awarenessof all available resources for training and development andparticipate in the ongoing training regarding technology upgradesand new systems.

11. Support all efforts andinitiatives across all business channels to maximize company salesgrowth andprofitability.
