Job Description - Interior Designer & Sales
Summary:
Interior Designer & Sales will define, design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy according to the organization’s culture, products, image and target market. He/ she will also provide exceptional customer service and the most important is to find new clients and bring projects to the company. He/ she will undertake design project from concept to completion and be able to help the customer create beautiful, gorgeous spaces with our furniture & accessories selection.
Job & Responsibilities:
1. Define, design and implement a
creative visual merchandising strategy
according to the organization’s culture, products, image and target market.
2. Produce
window displays ,
signs, interior displays, floor plans
and
special promotions
display.
3.
Arrange
eye-catching and well-presented
visual displays
appealing to the customers, showrooms are clean and the furniture is in place, and cushions are arranged appropriately.
4. Ensure the
showroom music
is turned on, change displays to promote
new product launches
and reflect
festive or seasonal themes.
5. Identify damaged
furniture or accessories
that need
maintenance.
6. Report to the Showroom Manager regarding the process which includes the
project planning, conceptual design,
space planning, presentations, finish selections, scope, client programming, product specifications and cost , to ensure successful
execution of projects
from start to finish and to develop and advance the
design agenda
of each project, and process for
job orders
to ensure that the job is performed according to the
customer specifications , ensure
profit to the company.
7. Offers superior customer service and
cultivates relationships with clients
to sell & develop future business utilizing effective selling skills.
8. Responsible for achieving
monthly sales goals,
delivery goals and creating and maintaining a client base.
9. Responsible in
attracting
and
bringing in new clients and projects
to the company.
10. Utilizes strong interpersonal skills, selling skills, active listening,
professional attitude , and represents the company with integrity and professionalism.
11. Provides
sales and design services
to clientele, presenting floor plans and full presentation boards for design.
12. Builds and maintains a high level of
product knowledge
related to furniture, home furnishings, and related accessories, including a strong understanding of construction features.
13. Provide
overall guidance and assistance
to the Junior Interior Designers during the process flow of designing the projects.
14. Stays current on
interior design trends
in their local market and on a national level.
15. Assists all customers as called in rotation and ensures appropriate
order procedures and processing.
16. Maintains client contact from order writing through delivery to ensure
client satisfaction.
17. Participates in other
showroom functions
including, but not limited to: training and mentoring others, weekly sales meetings, working reports, maintaining showroom appearance, tagging, wrapping and greeting, catalog / price list upkeep, and inventory.
18. Follow up on the
clients’ orders
and make sure that the orders have been placed.
19. Collect the
pending payments
and ensure that the
pending deliveries
are completed.
20. Maintain an awareness of all available resources for
training and development , and participate in the ongoing training regarding
technology upgrades
and
new systems .
21. Support all efforts and initiatives across all business channels to maximize company
sales growth
and
profitability.

· Ability to create a computer-based floor plan and able to work with design software & templates.
· Ability to calculate curtains and wallpapers.
