Landscape Surveyor

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Landscape Surveyor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a passion for surveying, outdoor work, and facilities management (FM) to contribute to high-quality landscape projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of land surveying principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy.

Your role

• Conduct detailed topographical and boundary surveys of project sites.
• Prepare and maintain accurate survey reports and maps.
• Collaborate with landscape architects and engineers to provide necessary site data.
• Use GPS, GIS, and other surveying instruments and technologies effectively.
• Oversee and guide survey assistants and technicians during field operations.
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist in planning and implementing land development projects.
• Leverage FM experience to improve project efficiency and outcomes.

About you

• A bachelor’s degree in surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
• A Professional Land Surveyor license is preferred.
• Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape surveying and facilities management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GPS, and GIS technologies is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and team collaboration abilities, are necessary.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different job sites are also required.
