Job Description: Leisure Centre Manager

Leisure Centre Manager tends to every aspect of the day-to-day running of fitness and leisure centres, both as a service and as a business. 

Responsibilities;

·         Recruiting, training and supervising staff.

·         Managing budgets.

·         Organizing fitness activities or programmes.

·         Maintaining statistical and financial records.

·         Developing new facilities.

·         Promoting and marketing the business.

·         Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.

·         Maintaining customer service standards.

·         Dealing with enquiries, complaints and emergencies.

Requirements;

·         Commercial awareness.

·         Physical fitness (or at least an interest in fitness and sport).

·         Excellent problem solving skills.

·         Customer service skills.

·         Organizational skills.

·         Interpersonal skills.

·         Teamwork and leadership skills.

·         Verbal communication skills.

·         Administrative and cash management skills.
