Lifting Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on-site.
  

• Ensure lifting equipment is properly certified, maintained, and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
  

• Conduct risk assessments and ensure lifting plans and method statements are in place and understood by the lifting team.
  

• Verify that crane operators, riggers, and signalers are properly qualified and competent.
  

• Act as the key point of contact for safe lifting operations on-site.
  

• Inspect lifting equipment and accessories prior to each use.
  

• Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings related to lifting operations.
  

• Stop and report any unsafe lifting practices immediately.
  

• Maintain accurate records of lifting activities, equipment certifications, and personnel qualifications.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Lifting Supervisor or in a similar role.
  

• Certification as a Lifting Supervisor (e.g., CITB, NPORS, or equivalent depending on region).
  

• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging techniques, and crane operation.
  

• Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to lifting.
  

• Ability to read and interpret lifting plans and technical drawings.
  

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various conditions.
