Machinist - Rotating Equipment

Partner with the bestThe Machinist will work with respective cell leader of the QatarService Center to make sure all company standards andOrganizational need are met. As a Machinist, you will beresponsible for: • Operating and performing Turning,Drilling, Milling, Grinders, and Boring activities to requiredspecifications • Preforming Assembly & disassemblyof rotors (Gas Turbine / Compressor) • Selecting the useof right cutting / hand tools, processes, hand tools and equipmentfor right task • Checking machinery on a daily basis toguarantee functionality • Performing dimensional andvisual inspections of rotors / GT related components •Performing the visual dye penetrant inspection •Completing required documentation with accurate information such asrouters / job card, labor reporting, checklist, and inspectionreports. • Understanding measuring instruments, mechanicalequipment and use of lifting tools. • Preventing andbreakdown maintenance of machines, balancing facility and all itsauxiliaries. • Maintaining a clean work area andcontribute towards overall housekeeping efforts and other duties asneeded • Updating digital shop systems related to assignedwork (Digital Work Order, Time Vouchering, Operation completion)• Ensure the work area is compliance with HSE requirementand full compliance with BH Policies / Procedures Fuel your passion• Have High School Certificate and related experience.• Have 10+ Years of relevant experience • Haveextensive knowledge of Turning, Drilling, Boring, Milling andbalancing processes • Have Rotor disassembly / assemblyknowledge • Have understanding engineering drawings& specifications • Fluent written and spokenEnglish • Have Knowledge CNC Milling operations is anadvantage • Have Knowledge balancing operations is anadvantage Work in a way that works for you We recognize thateveryone is different and that the way in which people want to workand deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
