JOBSUMMARY The Marketing and Communications Manager is part of animportant team that creates and executes propertylevelcommunications to our customers. Under the leadership of theDirector of Marketing and Communication this role promotes onbrandmessaging to customers through traditional digital and social mediachannels all with the goal of enhancing the image of the hotel.This role helps build direct marketing plans targeted campaigns andactivated channels to the end of driving consumer awareness andpreference increasing market share and building broader portfolioand brand awareness. This role focuses on showcasing Food andBeverage promotions both to hotel guests and to local patrons. Aspart of the Marketing and Communication team this role is fullyconnected into resources in their region; Marketing andCommunication Managers liaise and build deep partnerships withtheir regional eCommerce and Marketing teams to verify all localsocial and digital marketing efforts are effectively integratedwith the selling efforts for the organization. This role also getsto do a little bit of everything from balancing traditional anddigital marketing and eCommerce activities to contributing topublic relations (PR) activities for the hotel. Success is measuredby how well they help drive the sales and revenue strategy of theproperty social media engagement and also by how effectivelyleveraged the resources around them are to create truly compellingmarketing and communications campaigns.
CANDIDATEPROFILE Education and Experience Required: 2year degree from anaccredited university in Marketing Public Relations BusinessAdministration or related major and 4 years experience in the salesmarketing digital or related professional area; hospitalitymarketing or digital advertising experience preferred OR 4yearbachelors degree in Marketing Public Relations Business or relatedmajor; 2 years experience in the sales marketing digital or relatedprofessional area; hospitality marketing or digital advertisingagency experience preferred.
