Math Support Teacher

EGA is recruiting a Math Support Teacher. Inthis role, your primary responsibility will be to provideadditional assistance to students who may be struggling withmathematical concepts from Grade 1 and up. Your job entailsidentifying areas where students are encountering difficulties,designing tailored instructional plans to address these challenges,and delivering lessons in a way that suits individual learningstyles. • Your duties may include:* •*Assessment:* Conducting assessments to gauge students'understanding of mathematical concepts and identify areas ofweakness. • *Individualized Instruction:* Developingpersonalized learning plans for students based on their specificneeds and learning styles. • *Small Group Instruction:*Conducting small group sessions to provide targeted support andaddress common misconceptions. • *One-on-One Support:*Working individually with students who require extra help to mastermathematical concepts. • *Resource Development:* Creatingor sourcing supplementary materials, such as worksheets, games, ormanipulatives, to reinforce learning and make concepts moreaccessible. • *Collaboration:* Collaborating withclassroom teachers and other support staff to align instruction andsupport students effectively. • *Progress Monitoring:*Tracking students' progress over time and adjustinginstructional strategies as needed to ensure continuousimprovement. • *Communication:* Keeping parents informedabout their child's progress, challenges, and strategiesfor improvement. • *Professional Development:* Engaging inongoing professional development to stay updated on best practicesin mathematics instruction and special education techniques.• *Data Analysis:* Analyzing student performance data toinform instructional decisions and identify trends or areas forimprovement
