Job Description - Mechanical Design Engineer

Experience in the knowledge ofDesign of mechanical systems consisting of mainly HVAC, having abackground in Plumbing/Drainage, and Fire Protection, and asuccessful track record of delivering detailed designs to thehighest international standards.
Read anddesign drawings and standard detail drawings, specifications,schematics diagrams, sequenceoperation
Consultant firms with minimum 4 yearsat design department
Conceptualization ofsystem requirements based on projectnature.
Understands multi-disciplinary designprocesses.
Develop conceptual design andpreliminary design documents, including calc operation sequencinges, Control Logic,
Develop final designdeliverables including specification, operation sequences, ControlLogic, Mechanical Layouts, Schematics, Schedule of Equipment, andfinal construction documents.
Have thoroughknowledge of codes related to thedesign.
knowledge of mechanical software suchas Cooling/Heating (HAP) Load calculations, AerodynamicCalculations, Hydronic Calculations,etc.
Selection of mechanicalEquipment.
Preparation of data sheet for majorequipment.
Preparation, of tenderspecification.
Preparation of DesignReports.
Inter-disciplinecoordination.
Vendor coordination for equipmentselection.
Review meeting withEnd-Users.
Site visit to handle client/vendorqueries, input collection & designcoordination.
Observe safety and securityprocedures; report potentially unsafe conditions; use equipment andmaterials properly.
