• Examine anddiagnose vehicles
  
• Discuss repairs with shopforeman or service advisor
  
• Communicate additionalservice requests to service advisor
  
• Plan workprocedures in cooperation with shopforeman
  
• Provide labor time estimatesto service advisor
  
• Monitor repair time andupdate service advisor regularly
  
• Maintain strictadherence to dealership policies on vehicle care andoperation
  
• Complete story and/ordocumentation for client repairs
  
• Assist inmentoring technician trainees
  
• Attend company andfactory training
  
• Keep current with factorytechnical bulletins
  
• Understand and followfederal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardouswaste)
  
• Mustbe able to work in small spaces, climb 12 ft ladders and carry upto 100 lbs
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (general equivalencydiploma); or related experience and/or training; or equivalentcombination of education andexperience.
