Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled servicing of mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  

• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in pumps, compressors, turbines, and rotating machinery.
  

• Perform detailed inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential failures.
  

• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble mechanical components, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
  

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  

• Work closely with engineers and supervisors to improve operational efficiency.
  

• Follow company safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  

• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in oil & gas, power generation, or heavy industry.
  

• Strong understanding of rotating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
  

• Skilled in using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
  

• Problem -solving, teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
