Medical Oncologist Consultant

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to diagnose and stage cancers accurately.
• Develop and oversee personalized treatment plans, utilizing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.
• Monitor patients for treatment responses, manage side effects, and adjust therapies as needed.
• Collaborate with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other specialists to deliver integrated cancer care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cancer treatments and health management.
• Engage in clinical trials and research initiatives aimed at improving cancer treatments and outcomes.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in oncology to enhance clinical practice.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialized training in Medical Oncology.
• Valid medical license to practice in the state.
• Board certification in Medical Oncology required.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in oncology practice preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and comprehensive knowledge of cancer treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions.
