Job Title: Pipe Fabricator

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication sketches to determine layout and specifications.
  

• Measure, cut, bevel, and fit pipes using cutting torches, saws, pipe benders, and grinders.
  

• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using various welding techniques (TIG, MIG, SMAW) and mechanical fastening methods.
  

• Align and clamp pipe sections together prior to welding or bonding.
  

• Perform tack welding and final welding, ensuring weld quality meets specifications.
  

• Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic tests to ensure pipe integrity.
  

• Work with materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy pipes.
  

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  

• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and project specifications.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Pipe Fitting, or relevant trade.
  

• Proven experience of 2 to 5 years as a Pipe Fabricator in industrial or construction projects.
  

• Certification in welding processes (optional but preferred).
  

Skills Required:

• Strong ability to read and interpret piping drawings and fabrication layouts.
  

• Proficient in the use of pipe fabrication tools and machinery.
  

• Basic knowledge of different piping materials and their applications.
  

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  

• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
  

• Understanding of safety procedures and quality assurance protocols.
