Piping Line Checker

• Review piping drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and material specifications for proper installation guidance.
  
• Perform line checking to confirm proper routing, fit-up, support installation, and compliance with design.
  
• Ensure all piping systems are flushed, pressure tested, and cleaned as per project specifications.
  
• Verify pipe sizes, materials, supports, and alignment before hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.
  
• Identify and document any discrepancies or non-conformances found during inspections.
  
• Coordinate with construction teams, quality control, and engineering for resolution of issues.
  
• Ensure safety standards are maintained during all checking and inspection activities.
  
• Prepare punch lists and follow up on outstanding items for clearance and completion.
  
• Support turnover and handover processes by ensuring all piping systems are checked, approved, and documented
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  
• 5+ years of experience in piping inspection or line checking roles in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
  
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.) and piping construction practices.
  
• Strong understanding of P&IDs, isometric drawings, and material specifications.
  
• Good communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in EPC projects, especially with Samsung C&T or similar contractors.
  
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and documentation.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction management tools.
