Job Description - Planner Engineer

- Prepare, update, and monitor project schedules and work programs.

- Track project progress and analyze schedule performance against approved baselines.

- Identify delays, risks, critical activities, and long-lead items, and recommend corrective actions.

- Determine and monitor the project critical path and milestone achievements.

- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely project execution.

- Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and forecasting reports.

- Monitor resource allocation, productivity, and project performance.

- Review and assess contractors’ and subcontractors’ schedules.

- Evaluate Extension of Time (EOT) claims and time-related variations.

- Support project planning, cost control, and reporting requirements.

- Ensure compliance with project timelines, contractual obligations, and project objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related engineering discipline.
5–10 years of relevant experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controls, preferably within the construction/ infrastructure sectors.
Mandatory GCC experience with demonstrated experience working on projects in Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, or Bahrain.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
UPDA registration is mandatory.
