Job Description - Policy Developer

Job Overview

Marafeq Qatar is seeking a detail -oriented Policy Developer to draft, review, and standardize

company policies and procedures in English. The role involves working closely with internal

stakeholders and senior management to ensure policies are clear, compliant, and aligned with

organizational and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

â Develop, review, and update company policies and procedures to ensure alignment with

national regulations and organizational objectives.

â Ensure compliance with Qatari labor laws, governance frameworks, and international

best practices.

â Conduct policy research and analysis to support informed decision -making and strategic

planning.â Collaborate with internal departments and external regulatory bodies during policy

development and review.

â Prepare clear, professional policy documentation, briefing notes, and reports for senior

management.

â Lead policy audits and evaluations to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and continuous

improvement.

â Support training and awareness programs to facilitate effective policy implementation.

â Advise executives and managers on policy implications, risk areas, and recommended

improvements.

â Keep up -to -date with changes in Qatari legislation, regulatory announcements, and

government initiatives.

â Create policy flow charts to visually represent processes and approval hierarchies.

â Maintain meticulous documentation control, formatting, and proofreading standards.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills

â Bachelor’s degree in English, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related

field.

â Proven experience in policy writing, documentation, or corporate governance,

preferably in government tenders or high -value procurement environments.

â Strong analytical and problem -solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply

complex regulations.

â Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

â Strong command of grammar, business writing, and documentation standards.

â Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

â Strong documentation, formatting, and proofreading abilities.
